As part of the Spanish Strategy for the Internationalization of the Spanish Economy 2017-2027 (EEIEE), ICEX LOCALIZA is launched, supporting the implementation or consolidation over time of Spanish SMEs outside the Member States of the European Union. Priority markets are the United Kingdom, Asia and the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean countries.
Aimed at multi-sector projects, accepting the establishment as a subsidiary, branch or representative office. It is not necessary that they are already constituted, ¡+ but it is necessary to present documentation that justifies the beginning of the process.
Under this strategy, incorporation expenses will be considered with a limit of up to €30,000.00 per Beneficiary.
Requirements:
– Have your own brand.
– They present a viable and quality agreement in the selected market, both for the domestic market and the target market.
– Have no debt contracted with ICEX.
– Comply with Article 13 of the General Law of Subsidies that regulates the requirements for beneficiaries and that are not in a situation of a company in crisis. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis.
Criteria for project selection:
– Feasibility of the project presented.
– Quality of the same.
– Geographical area chosen by the company.
Eligible Expenses:
– Preliminary, incorporation and first establishment expenses: feasibility studies, incorporation expenses and external advisory expenses directly related to the incorporation of the subsidiary, branch or representative office.
– Promotional expenses: market research, dissemination and promotional material, contracting of specialized services for the graphic adaptation of the brand to the target market, development of software and mobile applications for promotional purposes, advertising, positioning and marketing actions in social networks, promotional actions, commercial sponsorships, public relations, participation in trade fairs, attendance in the target market at specialized congresses and forums, and expenses derived from consultations and subscriptions for information on tenders and bids, exclusively for the target market.
– Brand legal defense and homologation expenses: registration of patents and trademarks exclusively for the target market and registration of web domains, brand defense in the target market and homologations and certifications aimed at the target market, as well as certifications and pre-qualifications before large clients in the target market.
Expenses incurred between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021 and, exceptionally, expenses incurred between September 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020 are eligible.
